The Ferrari and the Pizza! Two fascinating creations from the fabled land of the Italians. How do these seemingly normal people come up with such ingenious creations. The Ferrari is a thing of beauty, a piece of manmade perfection, while the pizza has delighted scores of food-istas with its intricate, yet simple taste. Are the Italians, truly a prodigious lot? Is Italy, a land of hope, culture and prosperity?
To reach out to the Indian public about the hallowed land of Italia and to answer the aforementioned questions, Istituto Italiano di Cultura is hosting QuizItalia 2012 which is a Quiz for Indian College Students that is based on Italy, its people, its culture and history: in all forms and aspects since time immemorial to the present day.
The Bangalore round of the quiz will be held in the IEM auditorium, RVCE at 3 PM on the 30th of October 2012. The quiz will consist of a written preliminary round followed by a final round for the top 6 qualifying teams. The winners of the Bangalore round will participate in the National Final which will be held at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in December 2012. Prizes worth Rs 50000 are at stake at the National Level.
So, come to the quiz, y’all! Italy was never this interesting.
